Silver Muse's 2026 Refurbishment
During the Silver Muse's recent dry dock at the Fincantieri shipyard in Palermo, Italy—its first major refit since launching in 2017—the rooms and interior spaces were a primary focus.
Here is exactly what changed on the Silver Muse during that early 2026 refit:
New Suite Layouts: The dry dock introduced a brand new room configuration called Medallion Suites. These feature a secluded bedroom area with a king-size bed, a private veranda, and a luxurious bathroom equipped with a double vanity, full bathtub, and walk-in shower. The in-suite dining program was also updated with a refreshed menu.
Dining Venues & Decor: The ship's interior was structurally reimagined to add Silversea's hallmark S.A.L.T. (Sea and Land Taste) Kitchen and Bar. Existing lounges and restaurants like Dolce Vita, the Arts Café, and La Terrazza also received refreshed aesthetic touches and elevated food and beverage offerings.
Recreation Spaces: The pool deck was upgraded with all-new furnishings, and the upper decks were modified to include a new pickleball court, a putting green, and a simulator experience.
May to Early June: The weather is warm and pleasant, the spring flowers are still blooming, but the intense summer vacation crowds haven't arrived yet.
Late October to November: This is arguably the best time. The weather is cool, dry, and highly predictable. The island is covered in silver grass and autumn foliage, and the tourist numbers drop significantly after the summer rush.
